new plans

these are the new plans for the design. before it was hard to determine where the void area was so it is now highlighted and correct pen weights have been used then before looks alot better.
im also planning to use these as keys for the rendered images to let the audience know what and where the image is representing. hehe i got that feedback from another persons presentation.. comes in handy. :)

more renders

playing with the lighting fixtures again to put into render.

more renders showing the changes to the design..

this is the second bar where the lounge use to be. the mezzanine area with the timber flooring will be more then enough to accomodate for seating and lounging about.

so these are the new clay renders of my design. which shows the new section on the side and the windows incorporated

this is the how the mezzanine area looks like, the walls are textured plastering obviously with technique involved to make it look nice and colour. still wanted to incorporate bamboo so put in a display to emphasise the space a lil... giving it more of a feel...

the new design of the building. the location of the windows will not detract the focus from the dance floor direction. the windows visible on the side dont detract as they are visible from the mezzanine floor and on the ground floor the direction of the windows are facing in a backwards direction

previous design that for where the windows would go.
however wasnt used.

from the presentation feedback was provided to further develop my design.
this included: to take advantage of the water views
change material from concrete to a lightwieght material
instead of using wallpaper use raw materials such as bamboo
work on the lounge render as it is the weakest.
show void spaces in floor plan.

the changes to the design are incorporate windows
because of the design and slightly changed and the lounge area is now removed to a second bar
concrete has now been changed to steel frames with exterior timber facades and interior plastered grey. (having the affect that it looks like concrete)
this model is the first one that was worked for concept at 1:200.

this is the mass model developed at 1:100
